Diablo Immortal introduces a special type of quest known as Elite Quest. These questlines take about 20+ minutes to complete and contain in-game cutscenes. The Elite Quests are tailored to expand the story of the game, and more will be added in future content patches and/or expansions. For example, one of the Elite Quests focuses on Valla and her mentor Josen in Shassar Sea.

Another one continues the story of Shassar Sea after Tabri assembles the three pieces of the Scepter of Fahir, and leaves us with a cliffhanger about something that might happen later as new content gets added to the game.
