The Free Comic Book Day 2025 website announced its full list of free comics, which revealed that Titan Comics is developing a new Diablo comics titled Diablo: Dawn of Hatred.
Before the launch, which has no date at the moment, Titan Comics will release a free Diablo: Dawn of Hatred comic on May 3, during the Free Comic Book Day 2025.
From the description, it is clear that this is not a Vessel of Hatred prequel. It is set after the Vessel of Hatred story campaign — which interestingly places this comics into “next expansion” prequel territory.

6 years ago, Titan Comics was developing a Diablo comics. After my pre-order was canceled and other comic book stores phased out pre-orders, I visited the 2018 New York Comic Con and asked a Titan Comics representative who confirmed that the series had been canceled.
