DIABLO: DAWN OF HATRED #2 (OF 4) SOLICITATIONS

The Diablo: Dawn of Hatred #2 (of 4) Solicitations are now available, and reveal something never seen before in a Blizzard-licensed comic book or graphic novel. Issue #1 included a Foil cover — which is common in issue #1 special events (As seen in Marvel Comics, circa 1990s: i.e. Cable # 1, X-Men: Age of Apocalypse Alpha/Omega). Diablo: Dawn of Hatred # 2 also has a Foil variant. Two in a row might suggest that all 4-issues will get the Foil treatment. If this turns out to be true, fans who decide to collect the Foil variant #1-4 might pay $59.96 overall. The normal cover costs $4.99 each.

This publishing decision shows that Xbox is taking Blizzard IPs very seriously and is willing to take risks.
