Someone with username Azimuthus posted in Reddit an image of what he claims is spotting the Diablo 4 downloader in the Blizzard Launcher. The download isn’t possible with a decryption key — which means this build is only accessible by Blizzard employees — most likely only the Diablo 4 team.
If this truly happened, it was very likely a mistake by someone at Blizzard who flagged it for public view, accidentally.
The ASUS ROG Phone and/or Diablo Immortal Beta’s Canada regional testing rumors are now officially debunked.
Gustav_ASUS responded the following: “Users who subscribe to common topics like ‘ROG Phone 3’ and ‘Gaming news’ on ROG Connect got the notification.”
Furthermore, Gustav_ASUS also stated that the notification was not sent “only to canadians” nor was it an advertisement sponsored or in partnership with Blizzard Entertainment. The notification he wrote was a regular content post to generate hype for an upcoming game that the ASUS ROG Phone community has been discussing.
Discord user RVxCobra|WoXian shared today’s NetEease Q3 2020 investors call report. There is a quote that is impactful because right after mentioning Diablo Immortal, the report says many of **these** games will launch before the Chinese New Year (that’s actually February 12, 2021).
Today, Blizzard CEO J. Allen Brack shared an 8-minute video that might be comparable as a company-wide State of the Union.
Jay briefly mentioned Diablo Immortal: “We recently conducted our largest ever internal playtest, and we’ll be sharing more of our plans as the work progresses.”
Jay could have said we’ll be sharing more of our plans at BlizzConline… but he did not. This could mean that another article similar to Wyatt Cheng’s Mid-Year 2020 might be in the horizon between now and February. Hopefully, more than one update? Read the full transcript below:
