I visited the Pocket Books booth on Saturday at 4pm to record on video the book signing session held by Christie Golden. Jaime Costas and her husband organized a raffle to give away 40 copies of the World of Warcraft: Arthas Collector’s Edition. The place was crowded with fans that were excited to meet her.
Below are some photos as a sneak peek until I prepare the videos. Photos explained from left to right … The first photo is Maticus (Worldofwar.net) and J. Allen Brack (WoW Producer Director); second photo is Medievaldragon and J. Allen Brack. The third photo from left to right: Jaime Costas (Pocket Books), Christie Golden, Medievaldragon, Richard A. Knaak and TOKYOPOP Editor-in-Chief Rob Tokar.
On this batch, Medievaldragon and Nethaera (WoW Community Manager). On the second one, with Karune (Starcraft II Community Manager). Third one: Greg Street (Ghostcrawler), Medievaldragon, and on the far right: Patrick Magruder (WoW Lead Gameplay Programmer). Need to double check the developer on light-gray shirt.
Blizzard Entertainment is preparing to launch three official Twitter feeds: @Warcraft, @Diablo and @ Starcraft—where they plan to update news, run contests and events. Who knows what they may do throughout the two-days Blizzcon 2009 event.
If you are excited with the opportunities and potential for a Blizzard twitter start subscribing with all three to follow them. It’s awesome to see Blizzard expand their social networking with more ways to interact with the community.
Our adorable and hard-working contact from Pocket Books, Jaime, has provided us their Blizzcon 2009 schedule—where you will meet Richard A. Knaak and Christie Golden; and have the opportunity to get some free stuff (while supplies last).
We have been given green-light from Blizzard and Pocket Books to ask Richard A. Knaak questions about World of Warcraft: Stormrage, so the community is very welcome to hurl some of the best questions about the Nightmare in the Emerald Dream, Malfurion, Cenarius and any other relevant topic surrounding the plot. You can either register and post below at the comments area, or to submit via email

If the Intel Patrol that will wander around the floor finds you wearing this badge, you will be given a card to redeem your prize at the booth. Are you ready to raid the Intel Booth? I can see a lot of hardcore fans with the wide-pockets investing their hard-sweat cash to collect this breath-taking sculpture. I simply hope they create a series of them for each of the five Diablo III classes.

Within the world of Sanctuary in the Kingdom of Khanduras, barbarians are an ancient class of legendary warriors. Barbarians are known for their immense size, relentless fury and two-weapon fighting techniques and dwell upon their sacred Mount Arreat. Though once misunderstood to be simple and aggressive invaders, they are a noble, proud people, upholding great tradition – protecting Mount Arreat and the mysterious artifact it holds.
Sideshow Collectibles and Blizzard Entertainment are proud to introduce the Diablo III Collectible series with this epic first release. The Barbarian Statue depicts the warrior class in fine form, wielding dual-axes in the heat of battle. Each piece is hand-cast in high quality polystone, individually finished and hand-painted to exacting standards, complete with individually assigned edition numbers on the bottom side of the base. Don’t miss this opportunity to begin your Diablo III collection with the limited edition Barbarian Statue.
